My first Mother's Day with Lucy. Most of the day felt pretty much the same, celebrated with the Wehner's, then celebrated with the Wagner's... but this time I got to snuggle with my own little girl at the end of the day.
So thankful for our own moms on this day... and what an amazing example they gave us as parents.
We planted a tree. Now every year as Lucy grows, we can watch the tree grow too. Let's just hope we don't kill it - I'm afraid taking care of a baby, a dog, a house and a husband might just leave the tree on the back burner.
i still can't believe you are really and truly a mom! yay! i like the tree idea. will you plant one for each of your kids? should you change the name of your blog now that Lucy is no longer a "bun in the oven"?
